Our Mission:To enhance the vitality of the River Forest Public Library for future generations.Since the River Forest Public Library first opened its doors in 1905, it has been transforming the lives of River Forest residents and nurturing a love of lifelong learning in all who experience its welcoming environment. From helping our youngest children explore the wonders of reading, to supporting all of us in pursuing our interests and developing new ones, our Library is an invaluable community resource. The Foundation's directors serve as volunteers.
