As you walk through the Anne T. Smedinghoff Memorial Garden, do you ever stop to read the custom bronze plaques in the seat wall? An unassuming feature of the garden, each plaque tells a story paying tribute to someone special. They include children, parents, community and library leaders, teachers and more. You’ll find both familiar names and strangers you’ll wish you knew. Funds from plaque sales help the RFPL Foundation maintain the beauty of the garden and contribute to enhancing RFPL for future generations.
